There's much interest in Solar power to help offset energy costs and pollution globally
- what's it gonna cost ?
Well, no body truly knows and scientists are battling over its economic viability !
There's also issues rarely spoke of in most public arenas - REFLECTIVE RADIANT HEAT !
But here's some numbers :
Article excerpts: "According to a new report by the American Action Forum, solar is a risky investment. AAF cites current pricing:
"Assuming solar remains at $114.3 $/MWh and the subsidies continue, the cost of a 140 GW goal could reach $246 billion.
On an annual basis, this is approximately $67 billion."
While Clinton's plan could potentially save billions of dollars, it remains a far cry from the nearly $250 billion it racks up by 2020.
Clinton's climate agenda is bold, and addresses key problems involving climate change. But the plan, should it come to fruition during a Hillary Clinton administration, could place an prodigious burden on the American taxpayer.
Now theres alott more to consider - including the fears of many scientists about the increase in atmospheric heat radiated back into the atmosphere.
But first and foremost is the cost and its affect on Americans debt and taxes going forward. The benefits increases as the build out continues - thats true - built it could take five to 10 years just to achieve any offset. Then theres truely no point where energy saving would actually out pace cost of the entire systems costs.
Carbon saving are based on shutting down natural gas use and ending fracking for fuel.
So read and see what you think about Solar power paid for with tax dollars ?
Now we know a few of Mrs. Clinton donors would love Government to pay for thousands and thousands of solar panels
- especially the man named Elan Musk who owns Solar City.
Just Sayin !
